                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF THE 
                   DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO EXECUTE A 
                   CONTRACT WITH PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, INC. 
                   FOR THE DESIGN OF THE NORTHWEST GEORGIA 
                   REGIONAL INTERCEPTOR SEWER SYSTEM FOR AN 
                   AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THREE HUNDRED 
                   TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($325,000.00), 
                   WITH SAID AMOUNT TO BE REIMBURSED BY AREAS 
                   DESCRIBED HEREINBELOW.
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that the Director of the Department of 
       Public Works be and is hereby authorized to execute a contract 
       with Professional Services, Inc. for the design of the Northwest 
       Georgia Regional Interceptor Sewer System for an amount not to 
       exceed $325,000.00, with said amount to be reimbursed as follows:
       	    	 Walker County, Georgia	       	    $ 65,000.00
       	    	 Catoosa County, Georgia       	    $ 65,000.00
       	    	 Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia      	    $ 32,500.00
       	    	 Chattanooga Regional Sewer System  $ 162,500.00
